Biography

Euan Millar received an MPhys in Physics with First-class Honours from Heriot-Watt University in 2023 and was awarded the Neil Forbes/Scottish Enterprise prize for most outstanding final year research project. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Physics in the Extreme Light group at the University of Glasgow, focusing on the application of computational and quantum imaging techniques to the life sciences, with an emphasis on fluorescence lifetime imaging. Specifically, his research aims to develop state-of-the-art imaging systems to track fast biological processes within living tissues and monitor the biochemical microenvironments and electrophysiology of cells.
